Stendahl art galleries

DEFINITION

Founded in 1921 on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles by Earl Stendahl, the gallery played an important role in early 20th century southern California art. Initial focus of the gallery was Primitive or Pre-Columbian art, but contemporary art was added.
