A group of Canadian artists who, beginning in the late 19th Century, "traveled through western Canada on a commission from the Canadian Pacific Railway." Among the artists were Frederic Marlett Bell-Smith, Thomas Mower Martin, Lucius O'Brien and Marmaduke Matthews.
