DEFINITION

A term with several meanings: 1) Paintings and drawings of and by peoples and races outside the influence of accepted Western styles. 2) Religious portrayals predating scientific studies of perspective and anatomy 3) Intuitive artists with a ???na??ve??? style often due to little, if any, training (or works intentionally made to look this way.
