DEFINITION

With headquarters at Grammercy Park South in New York City, the Society is an organization of professional and emerging American pastel painters. PSA was founded in 1972 by Flora Baldini Giffuni, and is the oldest pastel society in existence in America. For its members PSA offers classes, worshops and demonstrations as well as exhibition venues and assistance in starting regional chapters. The annual juried exhibitions are at the National Arts Club.
