Pasadena society of artists

DEFINITION

Founded in 1925, it is one of the longest-running non profits arts organizations in California. Membership included artists of varying styles from abstract to academic realism, and early in its formation, it was associated with the Pasadena Arts Institute. The Society continues into the 21st century with regular exhibitions. Early members included Alson Clark, Marion Wachtel and Ernest Batchelder.
