New york school of interior design
DEFINITION
Founded in 1916 in New York City and located since 1994 at 170 East 70th Street, the school was founded by architect Sherrill Whiton at a time Interior Design was first being recognized as a profession that required training. In 1924, it was chartered by the New York State Board of Regents.
