Macarthur foundation grants

DEFINITION

Based in Chicago, it is active in 60 countries, with each grant funded with no strings attached at $500,000. by funds set aside by John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur, publishers of "Reader's Digest". The grants are directed to Global Security and Sustainability and to persons expressing those themes.
