Contour - contour drawing
DEFINITION
The outline or boundary of a form, or the illusion of a line enclosing form, Contour Drawing was made popular as a teaching and working method by Kimon Nicolaides in his book, "The Natural Way". It refers to the artist focusing on the outline of their subject and then drawing one continuous line, without lifting the pencil, to create the image.
