Art center school college of design

DEFINITION

A reference to private schools in Pasadena and Los Angeles, both founded in 1930, and dedicated to offering undergraduate and graduate programs in art and design fields. The schools were especially appreciated by many World War II returning veterans, whose enrollment led to careers in commercial art.
